Terms and Conditions

Welcome to GMCFIT. By accessing this website or purchasing any services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview

GMCFIT provides live, one-to-one online personal training and movement coaching, tailored to individual needs and delivered in real time by video call. This may include strength and conditioning, mobility, flexibility, posture, and coaching in self-applied soft-tissue techniques. GMCFIT provides fitness coaching and education only; it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy, or injury rehabilitation, and is not a substitute for care from a licensed physician or physiotherapist.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have written consent from a parent or guardian, to use our services. You confirm that you have no medical condition that prevents you from safely participating in physical activity, or that you have been cleared by a medical professional to do so, and that you will tell us of any change in your health.

3. Services

Services are delivered as live, one-to-one coaching sessions by video call (Zoom), and may cover:

  • Personal training: strength and conditioning coaching

  • Mobility, flexibility, and posture coaching

  • Coaching in self-applied soft-tissue techniques (for example, foam rolling and trigger-point release the client performs themselves)

  • Guidance on home gym set-up, where applicable

GMCFIT does not provide written training programs unless separately agreed in writing, and does not provide physiotherapy, injury rehabilitation, or any form of medical or hands-on treatment.

4. Payments and Pricing

All prices are listed in Euros (€). Payment is required in full before sessions commence. Invoices are issued via Xero, and payment may be made by card (processed securely by Stripe) or by bank transfer. A 2.6% transaction fee applies to card payments processed via Stripe; bank transfers incur no such fee.

Refunds and right to cancel. Because services are personalised and begin promptly, all purchases are non-refundable once coaching has commenced. Where you are a consumer with a statutory right to cancel a distance contract (for example, in the EU or UK), you may cancel within the applicable cooling-off period; however, by purchasing and requesting that sessions begin immediately, you acknowledge that you lose this cancellation right once the service has been fully performed, and that where it has been partly performed a proportionate charge applies.

5. Session Validity (Packages)

Session blocks remain valid for one month beyond the original purchase period, after which any unused sessions are forfeited:

  • 4, 8, or 12-session packs (intended for 1 month): valid for 2 months.

  • 24 or 36-session packs (intended for 3 months): valid for 4 months.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure you have a safe, suitable space and appropriate equipment for training.

  • Follow the guidance given during sessions responsibly and within your own ability.

  • Perform all movements as instructed, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or distress.

  • Disclose all relevant health information, and keep us informed of any change.

  • Attend scheduled sessions on time, or give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling by the client must be made with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled, missed, or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice are deducted from the prepaid block in full.

  • Where GMCFIT cancels or reschedules a session, it will be moved to a mutually convenient time at no cost, with nothing deducted from your block.

8. Assumption of Risk and Liability

Physical exercise carries inherent risks. You participate voluntarily and, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you assume all such risks and release GMCFIT from liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation, including injury arising from the improper execution of exercises, from failure to disclose health conditions, or from ordinary negligence.

Sessions are delivered remotely and are not supervised in person; you are responsible for the safety of your own training environment and equipment.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the law of your place of residence, including liability for death or personal injury to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Medical Disclaimer

GMCFIT provides general fitness coaching and education. These services are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy, or injury rehabilitation, and are not a substitute for consultation with a licensed medical professional. Always consult a medical professional before beginning any exercise program, particularly if you have an existing injury or health condition.

10. Intellectual Property

All GMCFIT website content, branding, and any materials shown during sessions remain the property of GMCFIT and may not be copied, recorded, shared, distributed, or sold without written permission. Clients may not record sessions without GMCFIT's prior written consent.

11. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using this website or our services, you consent to the use of your data as described therein.

12. Modifications

GMCFIT reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or website notice. Continued use of the services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France, where GMCFIT is based, without limiting any non-waivable rights you hold as a consumer under the laws of your place of residence.
